11 Configuration and measurement using
CANHEADdirect
This chapter is to provide a survey about how to use CANHEADdirect for con
figuring your system and taking first measurements.
Please proceed as follows:
S Configure the CANHEADdirect module
S Check the system functions using the example program or
catman Easy/AP
S Set up the measurement channels and take the first measurement
CAUTION
The CA1030 amplifier module requires hardware version 1.30 or higher.
11.1 Installing the driver for the CANHEADdirect interface
S First install the catman Easy/AP software
S The driver for the CANHEADdirect module is installed automatically. The
PCAN network is set up automatically.
S Alternatively, you can install the driver from the accompanying system CD
(setup.exe)
