The following external I/O settings are provided:
Input settings
• Set the measurement start conditions (trigger source).(p.108)
• Set the TRIG signal logic.(p.110)
• Eliminate TRIG/PRINT signal chatter (filter function).(p.112)
Output settings
• Set the EOM signal.(p.114)
• Switch output modes (judgment mode/BCD mode).(p.116)
Measurements can be started in two ways.

Setting Measurement Start Conditions (Trigger Source)
Trigger signals are automatically generated internally for
continuous measurement.
Measure with internal (INT) triggering
To measure automatically
Measurements are triggered by an external signal.
Manual measurement triggering is also available.

Apply a trigger signal at the EXT I/O connector (p. 89)
• Send the ∗TRG command by communications interface
• Press
Measure with external (EXT) triggering
To measure at specific times
When internal triggering is enabled, the EXT I/O TRIG signal and the ∗TRG command
are ignored.
