3.2 Storage and preservation
To keep an unused Vibration testing and balancing device func-
tional over an extended period, several points must be observed:
 Store the device in the carrying case so that no dirt and dust
can get into it.
 The storage area must be dry and clean.
 Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures
(cold < -10 °C or heat >+ 50 °C).
3.2.1 Note regarding liability
We provide no guarantee for corrosion damage caused by inap-
propriate storage.
3.3 Purpose
The EasyBalancer EB 3500 Vibration testing and balancing de-
vice is designed for measuring and analysing mechanical vibra-
tions and for operational balancing in industrial environments.
In particular, the following tasks can be carried out with the
EasyBalancer EB 3500:
 Operational balancing of grinding wheels and spindles
 Detection of vibrations in bearing and machine housings
 Assessment of machine and system condition
 Measurement of overall vibration
 Measurement of unbalance vibration
 Measurement of speed
 Measurement of the roller bearing condition
