3.4 Features and benefits
The EasyBalancer EB 3500 Vibration testing and balancing
device is a modern device for measuring vibrations and op-
erational balancing.
Designed for use in industrial practice, the device can be
used to measure and monitor rotational speed and vibra-
tions on machines.
The effective vibration velocity of a machine is determined
by measuring the overall value.
This value is suitable for assessing machine vibration in ac-
cordance with DIN ISO 20816-1.
The EasyBalancer EB 3500 also measures the speed-syn-
chronous component of a vibration. This vibration compo-
nent is caused mainly by unbalance.
Whether the vibration condition of a machine can be im-
proved is shown by the comparison between the overall
value and the unbalance vibration.
If both are of similar magnitude, balancing will most likely
improve the vibration condition.
The data of a measurement or balancing task are stored
in the EasyBalancer EB 3500. The measured data can be
transferred to a PC via a USB interface. A PC program is
included in the scope of delivery, with the aid of which cus-
tomer-specific measurement reports can easily be created.
The EasyBalancer EB 3500 has a high-resolution touch-
screen for easy operation.
Acceleration sensors with sensitivities of 100, 500 and
1,000 mV/g can be connected to the EasyBalancer EB 3500.
Integrated sensor monitoring ensures that the connected
vibration sensor is also functional.
Modern rechargeable batteries ensure the EasyBalancer
EB 3500 remains mobile for a long time. A charge indicator
in the display informs in good time when the accumulators
should be charged.
