EasyBalancer EB 3500 Evaluation - Overall value measurement
10 - 5
Evaluation of vibration amplitudes as per ISO 20816
Explanation of zones Zone A
The vibrations of newly commissioned machines are usually in
this zone.
NOTE: The effort required to achieve vibrations in Zone A may be
disproportionate and unnecessary.
Zone B
Machines with vibrations in this zone are usually considered suit-
able to run continuously without restrictions.
Zone C
Machines with vibrations in this zone are usually considered un-
suitable for continuous operation. Generally, however, the machine
may be operated in this condition for a limited time until a favour-
able opportunity arises for corrective measures.
Zone D
Vibration levels within this zone are usually considered danger-
ous enough to cause damage to the machine.
