After starting the engine, check at the
cooling water check hole whether the
cooling water is circulating through
the engine.
The cooling water is checked here to
see whether it is circulating inside the
engine properly.
The anode metal is a sacrificed metal
which protects the outboard from
corrosion.
The engine cooling water is drawn
into the engine through this port.
