Tilt the motor to prevent the
propeller and gear case from hitting
bottom when the boat is beached or
stopped in shallow water.
Move the shift lever or the control
lever to the NEUTRAL position
and stop the engine.
Press the UP of the power trim/tilt
switch and tilt the motor to the best
position in compliance.
