Batteries produce explosive
gases: If ignited, an explosion
can cause serious injury or
blindness. Provide adequate
ventilation when charging.
Keep flames and sparks away,
and do not smoke in the area.
ANTIDOTE: If electrolyte gets
into your eyes, flush
thoroughly with warm water
for at least 15 minutes and
call a physician immediately.
POISON: Electrolyte is
poison.
CHEMICAL HAZARD: Battery
electrolyte contains sulfuric
acid. Contact with eyes or
skin, even through clothing,
may cause severe burns.
Wear a faceshield and
protective clothing.
KEEPOUTOFREACHOF
CHILDREN.
External: Flush thoroughly
with water.
Internal: Drink large
quantities of water or milk.
Follow with milk of
magnesia or vegetable oil,
and call a physician
immediately.

Use a battery which has 12V-70 Ah
or more specifications.
The battery is an optional part (i.e.
part to be purchased separately from
the outboard motor).
Connect the cable with the red
terminal cover to the positive ( )
terminal of the battery.
Connect the cable with the black
terminal cover to the negative ( )
terminal of the battery.
When the two outboard motors are
mounted on a boat, connect a battery
to the respective right and left
outboard motors.
Secured away from the fuel tank
to avoid potential sparks near the
fuel tank.

direct sunlight and water spray.
Properly secured in the boat.
Installed in the correct size
corrosion-resistant battery box.
