The serial essernet

interface (SEI1) is used to connect the ESSER Fire Alarm Control Panels
800x and IQ8Control and FlexES Control to:
• Managementsystem (e.g. FlexES Guard)
• Multiprotocol-Gateways (Part No. 785xxx)
• Voice alarm system (VAS) or Emergency audio warning system
Depending on the type of the serial essernet

interface and the desired application,
connection to the control panel is made via an TTY or RS232 links. Systems with bi-directional
data transmission include additional remote control facilities.
Via the essernet

module the SEI1 may be integrated as a independent unit into an essernet

network.
