Performance features
• The VARIODYN
®
D1 system can be controlled by the fire alarm control panel via this
connection.
• Collective faults of the VARIODYN
®
D1 system are reported to the FACP.
• The connection between the two systems is constantly monitored for short-circuit and
interruption.
• The system time and the date of both systems are automatically synchronised (received
from FACP  DOM or DOM  FACP – depending on the selection).
Activation via control zones
The activation is carried out via control zones within the essernet
®
, in order to transmit the
information for the activation of an alarm circuit to the DOM. For this purpose, corresponding
activations of control zone outputs are achieved via zone inputs and are sent via the SEI1 to the
DOM in the ESSER FACP.
The 'Control zone activated/triggered' status is assessed by the DOM.
