Tines
The tines are a combination of loosening tools
and fertiliser coulter. They loosen the soil, re-
move harvesting residues from the root area and
place the fertiliser into the seed row.
The TerraGrip III tool carriers are equipped with
a spring loaded stone release protection. The
maximum tripping force is 670 kg.

NOTE
The stone release protection serves as protec-
tion system against obstacles in the eld.
¾ Reduce the working depth if the stone re-
lease protection is often triggered under hard
ground conditions, even without stones as
obstacles.
Maintenance
¾ Check bearings for wear.
WARNING
Danger of severe injuries caused by the ten-
sioned spring assembly.
¾ Replace the spring assembly only as a com-
plete unit (workshop work)!
¾ Never open the spring assembly.
¾ If a tine is blocked or jammed by stones etc.,
please contact the HORSCH Service.
Adjusting the fertiliser placement
The fertiliser depot can be placed either on the
surface of the eld, or in the soil. In addition to
this, fertiliser can also be placed half in the soil
and half on the surface.

Spring ap to adjust the fertiliser placement
¾ Press the spring ap (A) down and let it click
into place at the desired position.
¾ Adjust the aps on all tines equally.
