Row spacing
On the Focus TD the ow spacing can be altered.
The row spacing can be taken from the tables
under “Technical data”.
There are two possibilities:
• Coulter extension
For the tighter row spacing, additional Turbo-
Disc coulters are bolted on to the drill.
• Additional coulter bar
The Focus TD is equipped with two coulter
bars, one with a tight and one with a wide
row spacing.
Conversion of the number of rows
The hose installation is in any case prepared for
the full coulter equipment.
If only half the coulter equipment is used, two
hoses each care connected to one seed coul-
ter. The hoses are in this case connected with
Y-unions.

Y-unions on the seed coulters
¾ For extending the coulter equipment, every
second coulter must be installed.
¾ Remove the Y-unions, connect one hose to
the already present coulter, connect the other
hose to the newly installed coulter.
¾ Proceed in reverse order when converting
from full to half the coulter equipment.
