Adapting the drawbar
For hitching up with towing eye or ball head,
the drawbar needs to be adapted to the hitch-
ing height.
¾ Back the tractor carefully up to the machine.
¾ Connect the hydraulic lines to the tractor.
¾ Open the lock valve on the drawbar.
¾ Adjust the height of the drawbar using the
function “Lift” in the terminal.
¾ Close the lock valve again.
While working in the eld, the lock valve
on the drawbar cylinders must be open.

DANGER
There is a possibility that persons may become
crushed and severely injured between machine
and tractor!
Instruct persons to leave the area between trac-
tor and machine.
Hitching up
¾ Back the tractor up to the machine. Connect
hydraulic lines, brake lines and road lighting
equipment.
¾ With swinging drawbar hitching open the lock
valve on the drawbar and adapt the height
of the drawbar. See “Adapting the drawbar”.
¾ Hitching up the machine
With tractor link arm hitching lock the two-
point of the tractor sideways.
¾ Slightly lift the machine and fold in the support.
¾ Loosen the parking brake (option).
Transport position
¾ Lift the machine out at the rear by the packer
cylinders.
¾ For road transport ll up the piston rods of
both packer cylinders with the same amount
of aluminium clips and lower the machine on
these clips. These clips serve as transport lock.
¾ In case of swinging drawbar hitching add
clips also to the drawbar cylinder and lower
the machine on these clips. Then close the
lock valve.
¾ Lock the control units for transport on public
roads.
