The fan with direct drive and axial piston mo-
tor has three ports. The fan must be correctly
connected to prevent the motor from being
damaged.
¾ Feed and return 󰘱ow (A and B) of the motor
must be connected to a double-acting control
unit.
¾ The third port (C) is connected to the free
return 󰘱ow to the tractor.
The leak oil pressure must not exceed 2 bar,
measured on the motor.

Checks and maintenance
¾ Observe the return 󰘱ow pressure of maximum
2 bar, measured on the motor.
¾ Clean the air intake grid at regular intervals to
prevent a restriction in air 󰘱ow and resulting
blockage.
¾ Clean any dirt or deposits from the fan blades
to prevent unbalance and damage to impeller
and bearing.
¾ For fan with oil cooling you must additionally
clean the 󰘰lter at regular intervals, to maintain
the cooling function.
¾ Retighten the clamping taper on the fan shaft
(see chapter Fan Flange).

The clamping taper 󰘰xates the fan wheel and
additionally clamps on the drive shaft.
The clamping taper on the fan drive may come
loose. The impeller can thus move along the
drive shaft and damage the fan.
¾ After approx. 50 hours retighten the clamping
taper on the fan 󰘱ange and check it annually.
