Rubber bearing
Keep the rubber bu󰘯ers free of oil. Oils
and grease can harm the rubber and thus
adversely a󰘯ect the function.
Harrow
The harrow can be adjusted downwards if re-
quired.
¾ Unscrew the bolt, move the bracket to the next
lowest hole and retighten the bolt.

¾ Check press rollers for condition, light move-
ment and tight 󰘰t.
¾ Readjust the scraper on the press wheels as
required.
¾ Check the scrapers and uniformers for condi-
tion, tight 󰘰t and adjustment.
¾ Check coulter discs and bearings for wear,
light movement and pre-tension.
¾ Tighten the screws for the coulter disc bear-
ings (M 16 x 1.5) with 130 - 150 Nm.
Tighten the screws for the coulter discs
(6 x M 8 per disc) with 38 Nm.
¾ Check the rubber bearings and renew if aged
or showing reduced tensioning force.
Uniformer
The uniformer 󰘰rms the seed in the seedbed and
presses it gently down.
Under moist conditions and sticky soils the
uniformer may pick up residues. In this case it
should be removed.
To avoid damaging the uniformers do not
reverse with the machine lowered.
Press rollers
The press rollers guide the depth of the seed
placement, cover the seed with 󰘰ne soil and
press it down on the seed.
The height of the press rollers can b e set to
two positions.
¾ Loosen the front screw (B).
¾ Remove plug (C) and rear screw (D).
¾ Position the press roller and fasten with screw
in the other hole.
¾ Tighten both screws with 100 Nm each and
press in the plugs.

Adjusting the press roller
If depth guidance by the press rollers cannot be
assured on soft and sandy soils, these can be
replaced by press rollers with widths of 7.5 cm
(option).
