Shutting Down the System
Use this procedure whenever the system must be shut down. Some of the steps may not apply. For example,
the user may already be connected to the host, and therefore, Step 1. of the following procedure would may be
ignored.
Checking System Configuration
To power down the system, perform the following procedure:
Step 1. Open a command prompt window and connect to the MP by entering:
telnet <hostname>
