FREEZESTATUS SCTERM
Considerations
•
The PATHMON process returns an error if any of the following conditions apply:
•
A FREEZE command has not been issued against the server.
•
The specified TERM object is not communicating with the specified server.
•
The TERM object’s STOP-MODE special register is zero, signifying that the
TERM object is not preventing the server from being frozen.
•
The PATHMON process also returns an error if the server is already frozen. Note
that this can occur after the first in a loop of FREEZESTATUS SCTERM
commands because of the following sequence of events:
1. The first TERM object is stopping the freeze; status is reported on the first
TERM object.
2. The first TERM object completes; the server class freezes.
3. The second FREEZESTATUS command arrives at the server and receives an
error.
