12 TCP Error Messages
This section describes the error messages reported by link managers. The descriptions
are given in ascending order by error number; that is, in ascending order by the
ZPWY-ERR- values.
Message Numbers
All messages returned by the PATHMON environment are logged by the PATHMON
process; however, some messages in some number ranges represent events and
errors reported to the PATHMON process by other processes. The message number
identifies the process that reported the error, as follows:
Error messages with a value of 0 indicate that the command completed successfully
(ZPWY-VAL-OK).
Error Presentation
Most Pathway subsystem errors reported to a management application are returned in
the response buffer the application receives from the PATHMON process. Pathway
subsystem errors reported to SPI requesters are returned in one of the following:
In the response buffer for a STATUS TCP or STATUS TERM command (as a
number in the ZERROR field of ZPWY-DDL-STATUS-TCP or
ZPWY-DDL-STATUS-TERMDETAIL)

Although some messages generated by
