Removal and Replacement Procedures
Removing a Memory Module
To remove a memory module:
1. Complete the preparation procedures. Refer to “Preparation Procedures” in this chapter.
2. Remove the access panel. Refer to “Access Panel” in this chapter.
3. Press outward on both latches of the memory module socket at the same time (1) to
release the DIMM and push it partially out of the socket.
4. Lift the memory module from the socket (2).

To replace a memory module, reverse steps 2 through 4.
