7. Raise the processor socket lever (1).
IMPORTANT: The processor socket lever must be perpendicular to the system board to
unlock the processor unit.
8. Lift the processor out of the socket (2).

9. Lower the processor socket lever.
10. Reinstall the access panel and the bezel.
To replace the processor, reverse steps 2 through 10.
