Setting up an IRF fabric
You can use IRF technology to connect and virtualize HPE FlexFabric 5710 switches into a large
virtual switch called an "IRF fabric" for flattened network topology, and high availability, scalability,
and manageability.
The switch can set up an IRF fabric only with switches from the same switch series.
To set up IRF links between two switches, use the 10-GE, 40-GE, or 100-GE ports.
