Setting up an HPE OfficeConnect 1950
stack
You can use HPE IRF technology to connect and virtualize HPE OfficeConnect 1950 switches into a
large virtual stack for flattened network topology, and high availability, scalability, and manageability.
NOTE:
• Stacking and stack are called IRF on the webpages and in online help.
• The HPE 1950 12XGT 4SFP+ switch can form a stack only with switches of the same type.
