1. Open the Notifications panel, and then touch > Display, gestures & buttons.
2. Select the Stay awake option and touch .
Note: Not all application screens support automatic rotation. The screen orientation
automatically changes to landscape mode when you turn the phone sideways.
Text Size
You can adjust the text size for your viewing comfort.
1. Open the Notifications panel, and then touch > Display, gestures & buttons.
2. Touch Font size and then select the font size.
Brightness
By default, the screen brightness automatically adjusts depending on the surrounding lighting
conditions.
To manually adjust screen brightness:
1. Open the Notifications panel, and then touch > Display, gestures & buttons.
2. Touch Brightness, and then clear the Automatic brightness option.
3. Drag the slider to adjust the brightness.
4. Touch OK.
Screen Timeout
After a period of inactivity, the phone screen turns off to conserve battery power. You can set
the idle time before the screen turns off.
1. Open the Notifications panel, and then touch > Display, gestures & buttons.
2. Touch Sleep, and then touch the time before the screen turns off.
Note: Extended screen timeout periods may reduce the batterys talk and standby times.
Tip: To turn off and lock the screen quickly, press .
Notification Flash
Touch this option to select which events you want the Front Indicator Light (LED) to light up and
notify you.
1. Open the Notifications panel, and then touch > Display, gestures & buttons.
2. Touch Notification flash, and then touch an event for which you want to see the
notification LED to light up.
