6.3.5 Removing and Installing a Switch Module
Procedure
Step 1 Remove a switch module.
1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two M3 captive screws on the switch module.
See (1) in Figure 6-20.

2. Completely open the two ejector levers on the switch module. See (2) in Figure 6-20.
3. Horizontally pull out the switch module from the chassis. See (3) in Figure 6-20.
4. Completely close the ejector levers on the switch module. See (4) in Figure 6-20.
NO TICE
Each ESD bag should hold only one switch module.
5. Place the removed switch module into an ESD bag.
Step 2 Install a switch module.
1. Completely open the two ejector levers on the switch module and horizontally insert the
switch module into the chassis. See (1) and (2) in Figure 6-21.
