3.5 Installing Fan Modules
During operations, wear protective gloves to prevent personal injury.
Procedure
Step 1 Determine the slots for installing the fan modules.
A maximum of 14 fan modules can be installed in an E9000 chassis. Figure 3-17 shows the
slot numbers of fan modules.

Step 2 Install fan modules.
1. Align the fan module with the slot, and make sure that the indicators on the module are
on the same side as those shown in the identifier on the air baffle.
