Step 1 Determine the types and quantities of the components to be added.

Step 2 Check the compatibility between the added components and live network components. For
details, use the Intelligent Computing Compatibility Checker.
l If yes, go to the next step.
l If no, add the components that are of the same model or with the same BOM number as
the existing components in the compute nodes based on the compatibility checker.
