l A maximum of 16 half-width compute nodes, 8 full-width compute nodes, or 32 child compute
nodes can be installed in an E9000 chassis.
l The compute nodes must be installed in slots from bottom to top.
l A CH140 V3 or CH140 consists of two independent removable child compute nodes. The lower
child compute node is numbered as A and the upper one as B. The slot number of child compute
node A is 16 less than that of child compute node B.
