8.4 Installing Fire Extinguishing Devices
8.4.1 Installing
CE-Certied Fire Extinguishing Devices
8.4.1.1 (Optional) Installing the Fire Cylinder
Prerequisites
The extinguishant in the re cylinder meets the requirement.
● As the re cylinder is heavy, determine the installation position, port, and
fastening mode in advance to avoid long-distance movement.
● Do not impact or strike the re cylinder during transportation or installation.
Do not remove or
ip the dowel on the re cylinder.
● Assign at least four persons for transportation and installation if no auxiliary
tool is available.
● Do not touch any button in the re extinguishing system without permission
during installation.
● Do not power on the
re extinguishing system during installation.
Preparations
Tools: protective gloves, pallet truck, pipe wrench, adjustable wrench, step ladder
Materials:
re cylinder, high-pressure hose, sealing tape, threaded adapter, I-
shaped connector
Skill requirement: common technician
