● As the re cylinder is heavy, determine the installation position, port, and
fastening mode in advance to avoid long-distance movement.
● Do not impact or strike the re cylinder during transportation or installation.
Do not remove or ip the dowel on the re cylinder.
● Assign at least four persons for transportation and installation if no auxiliary
tool is available.
● After the
re cylinder is installed, do not remove the safety pin on the re
cylinder. Instead, remove the safety pin only after the re extinguishing system
starts working properly.
● Do not touch any button in the
re extinguishing system without permission
during installation.
● Do not power on the re extinguishing system during installation.
Preparations
Tools: at-head screwdriver, pallet truck, adjustable wrench, pipe wrench, step
ladder, protective gloves
Materials:
re cylinder, high-pressure hose, sealing tape, threaded adapter, I-
shaped connector
Skill requirement: common technician
Procedure
Step 1 Move the re cylinder using a pallet truck to a position near the pre-fab. module
door closest to the installation position.
Do not move the re cylinder over a long distance by hands.
Step 2 Untie the precongured steel straps at the installation position of the re cylinder.
Step 3 Move the
re cylinder to the installation position and secure it.
Keep the pressure gauge panel outwards so that people can view the reading,
which also facilitates later maintenance.
