1.12.3 X8 Power Distribution Instance
This section describes some power distribution instances.
This document describes the examples for installing NE40E-X series products.
The number of each PEM module can be determined based on a product silkscreen and the primary
and secondary power supply diagram.
To ensure power supply backup, connect PEM-As to the OUTPUT A area in the power
distribution box, and connect PEM-Bs to the OUTPUT B area in the power distribution box.

Scenario Where a Huawei NE40E-X8 Is Equipped with 4 PEM Modules
PEM-A1 and PEM-A2 are connected to A1-1 and A1-2 in the power distribution box.
PEM-B1 and PEM-B2 are connected to B1-1 and B1-2 in the power distribution box.
When the power distribution box powers two NE40E-X8s at the same time, the A2-1, A2-2, B2-1, and
B2-2 are connected to the PEM modules on the second NE40E-X8.
