Step 5 Observe the cell voltage and temperature in real time on the portable battery
charger/discharger to prevent overvoltage, overtemperature, undervoltage, and
undertemperature, ensuring the charging safety of the battery module.
During recharge, the portable battery charger/discharger detects the cell voltage of the
battery module in real time and terminates charging based on the parameters
corresponding to the charging mode. This protects the cell from overcharge and
overdischarge.
Step 6 After the charging ends, disconnect the power supply from the portable battery
charger/discharger, and check whether the recharge meets requirements according
to Table 4-4.

Method for Measuring
Battery Voltage
ESM-6476AS1 ≥ 65 V ● Method 1: Use a voltmeter
to measure the voltage
between the positive and
negative terminals of the
battery.
● Method 2: Check the
battery terminal voltage in
the test information
displayed on the portable
battery charger/discharger.
Step 7 Remove the battery module cables, place the battery module in the original
packing case, and update the latest charge time and next charge time on the
recharge label of the original packing case. The battery module should be used as
soon as possible.
