To troubleshoot a 'Chopper 1 current at power-up' error in your Hypertherm Cutter, first, check the wiring diagrams in section 7. Next, ensure the voltage at CS1 is correct. Verify the wiring between CS1 and PCB3 is intact and correctly connected. As a final step, try swapping CS1 with CS2; if the error code changes to 156, replace the original CS1.
