Appendix C. The 5149-N64 switch
This topic describes the key features and specications of the NVIDIA/Mellanox NDR switch, IBM MTM
5149-N64.
The 5149-N64 switch introduction
The NVIDIA/Mellanox NDR switch, IBM MTM 5149-N64 switch, is a managed 64-port switch that
provides 400 Gb/s InniBand bandwidth per port in a 1U standard chassis design. The MTM 5149-N64
switch is the next generation after MTM 8831-H40, and can be installed in the same rack as the ESS
solution, similar way as other supported high-speed data switches.
The following gures show the ports side and the power side of a 5149-N64 switch.
