SET MODES
DD
Squelch delay
Selects squelch delay from short and long to prevent re-
peated opening and closing of the squelch during reception
of the same signal.
•Sqt. S : The squelch closes in short delay. (default)
Sqt. L : The squelch closes in long delay.
DD
DTMF rate
The rate at which DTMF memories send individual DTMF
characters can be set to accommodate operating needs.
1: 100 msec. interval; 5.0 cps rate (default)
2: 200 msec. interval; 2.5 cps rate
3: 300 msec. interval; 1.6 cps rate
5: 500 msec. interval; 1.0 cps rate (cps=characters/sec.)
DD
Dial assignment
Selects [VOL] control action from volume and tuning dial.
tOP.VO: AF volume (default)
tOP.dI : Tuning dial
DD
Display type
Selects LCD indication type from frequency, channel number
and channel names.
dSP.FR : Shows frequency (default)
dSP.CH : Shows channel number*
dSP.nm : Shows channel names
*Only memory channels can be selected.
Frequency indication will be displayed when the selected memory
channel has no programmed memory name.
NOTE: When this setting is selected other than “FR” (“CH”
or “nm”) and accessing
SET MODE
from memory mode,
most of set mode items are restricted.
