Junction box Components
The Junction Box includes the following components:
- AC input plug with filter.
- Internal power supply to provide the required 24Vdc to the print heads.
- Electronic distribution board with connections.
- 4 LEDs to indicate the state of the printers connected.
AC Filter
Utilizes 2 fuses - 5 x 20 mm, 3.15 A.
NOTE: Verify that both 3.15 A fuses are connected and they are in good working order if the
Junction Box does not power up.
24Vdc Power supply
Junction Box contains a 24Vdc power supply to supply up to 4 TIJ printers:
- Mean well LRS-100-24.
- AC Input: 88 – 264Vac.
- AC current (Typ.): 1.9A / 115Vac – 1.2 A / 230Vac.
- Frequency range: 47 – 63 Hz.
- Operating temperature from -30°C to 70°C.
- No load power consumption < 0.3W.
- Max power consumption: 108 W.
- Max output current: 4.5 A.
Electronic board
The electronic board distributes the common signals for up to 4 connected printers and powers
the HMI. The heads can be powered by external power bricks or by the junction box itself (See
Jumpers section for details).
