Connecting AC Power
• Plug the AC power cord into the AC outlet.
• Move the AC power switch to the ON position.
Upon boot up, the POWER LED illuminates green, and within several seconds the STATUS LED
flashes green as the e8350 Satellite Router performs a self-diagnostic test. If this test is
successful, the STATUS LED illuminates green. If the test fails, the STATUS LED illuminates red.
After the initial hardware diagnostic test completes, the system takes approximately one
minute to complete the boot up cycle, during which the STATUS LED flashes green. If the
application successfully loads, the STATUS LED illuminates solid green. If the application
cannot start due to configuration or other errors, the STATUS LED illuminates solid red. Once
the e8350 Satellite Router is initialized, a factory default option file is loaded. A description
of the LED states upon initialization is listed in Table 15.
Note: The STATUS LED is normally green. A red STATUS LED indicates a malfunction.
