3.2.3 Restarting the printer after rinsing the conduit and head
Restart the printer simply by pressing
o.
However, we recommend checking that the ink jet is present and stable.
• It may be necessary to use the [Stability] function.
• It is essential to use the [Refresh] function for 5 minutes.
NOTE Remember to open the recuperation gutter.
3.2.4 Rinsing the printer manually
This procedure involves five phases:
1) Drain.
2) Rinse the entire ink circuit.
3) Drain.
4) Rinse the entire ink circuit.
5) Rinse the conduit and head.
Draining:
With the printer stopped, drain the ink tank, viscometer circuit (viscometer and constant
level tube) and the main filter (leave the filter cartridge in place).
Use the cleaning solution spray bottle to spray the inside of the ink tank to remove traces of
ink as far as possible from the basket at the bottom of the tank and in the constant level tube.
Leave to drain completely.
Rinsing the ink circuit:
After replacing the drain plugs, pour one liter of cleaning solution into the ink tank.
Start the printer and enable the refresh function for 20 minutes.
Rinsing the conduit and head:
See previous procedure.
Leave the printer full of cleaning solution.
