The cooling fan is not operating.
Turn the power off, and allow the projector to cool
down at least 20 minutes. After the projector has
cooled down sufciently, verify that no foreign matter
has become caught in the fan, etc., and then turn the
power on again.
If the same indication is displayed after this, contact
your dealer or service company.

The inside of the projector has possibly
become overheated.
Turn the power off, and allow the projector to cool
down at least 20 minutes. After the projector has
cooled down sufciently, verify the following items,
and then turn the power on again.
• Are the vents blocked?
• Is the air lter dirty?
• Does the peripheral temperature exceed 45°C?
• If you are using the

or

, does the peripheral temperature exceed
40°C?
• Is the ALTITUDE setting appropriate?
For ALTITUDE details, refer to ALTITUDE of
SERVICE in the OPTION menu (

). If the
projector has the wrong settings, it may damage the
projector itself or the parts inside.

Turn the power off immediately, and clean or change
the air lter according to section

. After cleaning or changing
the air lter, be sure to reset the lter timer.

Use the unit within the usage temperature
