10.8.3 Error “COMRESET failed” Reported during the
RHEL 7.4 OS Installation
Symptoms:
During the RHEL 7.4 OS installation, COMRESET failed (errNO=-32) is reported
and the OS cannot be installed.

Cause analysis:
The ata4 device of the server cannot be activated. The system attempted to
reset it but failed.
The errno=-32 also indicates that a device error exists:
EPIPE 32 /* Broken pipe */
Solutions:
Check the corresponding ata device to confirm whether it is normal or not.
