1. Press a button on the controller to activate the screen.
2. Press 1 on the controller to verify that circuit 1 activates.
3. Take one of these actions:
If the circuit... Then...
Activates, The controller is communicating with the receiver
properly. The procedure is complete.
Does not activate, Perform the procedure “Linking the Controller to
Receiver” on page 19.

1. Press the manual circuit buttons on the receiver and verify each circuit light illuminates.
2. Take one of these actions:
If the lights above the circuit buttons... Then...
Illuminate when the corresponding manual
circuit button is pressed,
The procedure is complete.
Do not illuminate when a corresponding
circuit button is pressed,
Make sure the voltage selector switch on the
receiver is set to the proper voltage.
3. Repeat step 1.
4. If the lights still do not illuminate, replace the F1 fuse — see Chapter 13.
5. Repeat step 1.
6. If the lights do not illuminate, check the circuit wiring. Refer to the wiring diagrams in the
Installation Guide.

1. Press a button on the controller to activate the screen.
2. Press P/S to activate the actuator valve(s).
3. Take one of these actions:
If the valve actuator... Then...
Activates, The procedure is complete.
Does not activate, Make sure the controller is congured for pool
and spa. If necessary, perform the procedure
“Conguring Pool, Spa, or Both in Controller” on
page 23. Then go to step4.
4. Press P/S to activate the actuator valve(s).
5. If the actuator does not activate, check the wiring. Refer to the wiring diagrams in the Installation
Guide.
6. Press P/S to activate the actuator valve(s).
7. If the actuator does not activate, contact Intermatic Technical Support.
