II. ATTACHING AND DETACHING MOWER DECK
■ INSTALLATION OF MOWER DECK
a. Start the engine and move the lift lever(1) backward
( ) to raise the mower link in the highest position.
Remove the PTO cover, (10). (F-type only)
b. Set the gauge wheels(3) of the mower deck in the
lowest position(Refer to page 63).
c. Befor installing the mower deck, set the rear gauge
wheels(3) sideways.
Warning:
When attaching or detaching the mower deck to the
lawn mower:
･ Place the lawn mower on level, hard ground.
･ Apply the parking brake securely.
･ Shift the PTO lever to the STOP ( ) position.
･ Do not start the engine except for operating the lift.
1. ATTACHING THE MOWER DECK
Attach the mower deck first to the lawn mower and
then connect the drive shaft.
(1) Lift lever (4) Ring clip (7) Front link (10) PTO cover
(2) Lower Chute (5) Rear link (8) Lock nut (11) Joint cover
(3) Gauge wheel (6) Drive shaft (9) Height adjust dial (12) Yoke cover
