For each input resolution, the initial value of each setting item becomes that as shown below.
VGA is input.
Video pixel adjustment: 32 (100000b)/ Phase adjustment: 08 (001000b)/ Horizontal adjustment:
32 (100000b)/ Vertical adjustment: 32 (100000b)
SVGA is input.
Video pixel adjustment: 40 (101000b)/ Phase adjustment: 60 (111100b)/ Horizontal adjustment:
61 (111101b)/ Vertical adjustment: 20 (010100b)
Since the screen cannot be displayed correctly with initial values, never attempt to
initialize the values.
For each input resolution, the set value of each setting item becomes that as shown below.
VGA is input.
Video pixel adjustment: 56 (111000b)/ Phase adjustment: 08 (001000b)/ Horizontal adjustment:
32 (100000b)/ Vertical adjustment: 29 (011101b)
SVGA is input.
Video pixel adjustment: 40 (101000b)/ Phase adjustment: 60 (111100b)/ Horizontal adjustment:
46 (101110b) / Vertical adjustment: 17 (010001b)
Canceling the setting mode
If each switch, UP/DOWN or RESET, is not input within a certain period of time (5 sec.) after each
item has been selected, the set mode is cancelled and the operation is returned to the setting mode
input waiting status.
The mode selection indication LED is turned off at the same time when the setting mode is
cancelled.
Each item of the LCD has been set correctly before shipment from the factory. Therefore, it is not
necessary to adjust the LCD after it has been replaced. However, if the display status is faulty, check
the set values and adjust them, when necessary.
Limitations on VGA display
The display in the VGA mode shows the turning video (upper portion is displayed twice) as shown in
the figure below.
Note that this symptom is not quality fault.

Cleaning the surface of the LCD monitor
If the monitor surface is contaminated, wipe it off to remove the contamination with a soft cloth rag.
If it is difficult to remove the contamination, use ethanol or isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
If any chemical or chemical cloth other than that described above is used, the quality of the monitor
surface may deteriorate, causing faulty display.
Additionally, if any contaminated cloth is used, the contamination may be transcribed onto the panel
surface. To prevent such problems, always use a clean cloth rag or do not use the same cloth rag
repeatedly.
