13-3. Power Supply Unit
13-3-1. Structure of Power Supply Unit
The power supply unit is mounted at the left of the rear of the machine (right side when viewed from
the rear). Figure 13-3-1-1 shows the structure drawing of the power supply unit.
The power supply unit is composed of DC power supplies, control relays, and circuit protectors, and
designed to supply the AC and DC power to the units (control unit, X-Y unit, Z-θ unit, transport unit,
and head unit.)
The following shows the application of each DC power supply.
• -12V (-12V ± 0.1V, PS5): A/D conversion circuit
• +3.3V (+3.3V ± 0.1V, PS7): For CPU board and XMP board (motion control),Position
board (motor control)
• +5V (+5.15V to 5.2V, PS6): For logic circuits of all circuit boards
• +24V (+24 ± 0.1V, PS2): For driving of relays, solenoid valves, stepping motors,
sensors, laser devices, and signal light lamps
• +12V (+12 ± 0.1V, PS4): For camera, serial communication, and lighting of LED
• +24V (+24 ± 0.1V, PS3): For driving of safety circuit (EN machine only)
• +6V (+6.3V to 6.5V, PS8): For controlling of feeder (32mm-paper tape)
• +6V(+5.3V±0.02V, PS1) For Zθ amplifier (left head)
• +6V(+5.3V±0.02V, PS9) For Zθ amplifier (right head)
13-3-1-1. Adjusting Method of DC Power Source Voltage Level
• The DC power output voltage is to be adjusted on the CN004 and CN036 of the power supply
unit.
• Adjust the DC power source voltage levels while referring to Table 13-3-1-1.

Note 1. Carefully adjust the variable resistor so that the voltage value does not exceed the
specified adjustment level.
Note 2. Never connect CN073-12 and 24 pins, CN004-1 and 13 pins to the GND line of a
power supply unit other than that to be adjusted.
