To prevent any trouble caused by accidental machine start, always
shut-down the power before starting the maintenance and
adjustment work.

1-1. Replacing the Timing Belt and Adjusting the Belt Tension
1-1-1. Timing Belt YM
(1) Remove the pulley cover.
(2) Remove the timing belt YB. (See section 1-1-2.)
(3) Loosen the SL6062592TN.
(4) Loosen the tension of the timing belt YM using the SM6085502TS.
(5) Loosen the SL6062592TN and replace the YA-pulley bracket assembly.
(It is impossible to replace only the timing belt YM. Always replace the YA-pulley bracket
assembly.)

Apply Loctite 277 to the SL6062092TN fixing the YB-belt joint and tighten it firmly.
(6) Reassemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly. Adjust the tension levels of
the timing belt YM and YB-belt.
(See the adjustment procedure on page 1-3.)
