SYMBOL MEANING
Battery charge state indicator.
The battery is empty.
1. Energy recovery (recuperation)
2. Charging the battery on the vehicle.
Braking assistance is active.
Service reminder
The motor is too hot and must cool down
before assisting you again.
A general fault has occurred; contact your
specialist cycle shop ➠ Chapter 9 “Trou-
bleshooting”.
Fault with motor ➠ Chapter 9 “Trouble-
shooting”.
Fault with control panel (remote control)
➠ Chapter 9 “Troubleshooting”.
Battery fault ➠ Chapter 9 “Troubleshoot-
ing”.
Communication fault
7.4 Programming and settings
Aer switching on the Xion system, you can switch to the
programming mode by pressing the diamond button. This
only works when the Pedelec is at a standstill. This is al-
ways possible when the “M” is visible on the display.
You are taken to the menu sub-items
• Back
• Tour Reset
• Assist mode
• Brake assist
• Push assist
• Settings
You can select the menu sub-items using the arrow but-
tons on the control panel. You can conrm your selection
by pressing the diamond button. The respective contents
are then displayed for you. In order to return to the start
menu display om the menu sub-items, you must select
the menu item “Back” and conrm by pressing the dia-
mond button.
