ATTACK KNOB & NUMBER BOX
The attack knob controls the attack time of the gate — the amount of time it takes to reach full
gain reduction once the input signal goes below the threshold.
• Turn clockwise to increase (longer attack); turn counterclockwise to decrease (shorter
attack).
• A specic value may be entered into the accompanying number box as an alternative way
of setting the attack time.
• Range: 1ms – 5000ms
RELEASE KNOB & NUMBER BOX
The release knob controls the release time of the gate — the amount of time it takes to go back to
zero gain reduction once the input signal goes above the threshold.
• Turn clockwise to increase (longer release); turn counterclockwise to decrease (shorter
release).
• A specic value may be entered into the accompanying number box as an alternative way
of setting the attack time.
• Range: 1ms – 5000ms
ROUTING SECTION
The Routing section of the channel strip is where panning and sending
audio to the aux outputs are handled.
MAINS
The mains (outputs 1 & 2) only have a single parameter in the routing
section — panning.
PAN KNOB
The mains pan knob sets the left/right panning of the signal going
to the main outputs.
• Full left (counterclockwise) sends to just output 1 (output 2 is
silent).
• Full right (clockwise) sends to just output 2 (output 1 is silent).
• A centered pan knob will send the channel’s signal to both
outputs 1 and 2 equally.
