3.4 Additional guidance to functions and features
This section summarizes some of the X5 FastMig functions and features and how to use them.
The use of additional welding programs and Wise features is possible with the X5 FastMig Synergic equipment.

3.4.1 Trigger logic functions
With X5 Wire Feeder 200 Manual and 300 Manual you can select the trigger logic by pressing the trigger logic selection
button in the control panel.
With X5 Wire Feeder 300 Auto and 300 Auto+ you can select the trigger logic in the Welding parameters view.
2T
In 2T, pressing the trigger ignites the arc. Releasing the trigger switches the arc off.
4T
In 4T, pressing the trigger starts the Pre gas, and releasing the trigger ignites the arc. Pressing the trigger again switches
the arc off. Releasing the trigger ends the Post gas.
3.4.2 WiseFusion
Available with automatic 1-MIG-enabled equipment only.
The WiseFusion welding function enables adaptive arc length control, which keeps the arc optimally short and focused.
WiseFusion increases the welding speed and penetration and decreases heat input. WiseFusion can be used throughout
the power range (short arc, globular arc and spray arc). WiseFusion is compatible with 1-MIG welding process.
