You can also set the integration time by specifying an aperture time (see [SENSe:]TEMPerature:APERture com-
mand). However, note that specifying integration time using NPLCs executes faster and offers better noise rejec-
tion characteristics for values of NPLC greater than 1.
The CONFigure:TEMPerature, MEASure:TEMPerature?, and [SENSe:]TEMPerature:NPLCycles commands auto-
matically disable the aperture time mode, and select an integration time in number of power line cycles.
This parameter is set to its default value after a Factory Reset (*RST command).
[SENSe:]TEMPerature:RJUNction? [(@<ch_list>)]
Returns the internal reference junction temperature on the specified channels in degrees Celsius, regardless of the
temperature units currently selected (see UNIT:TEMPerature command). This is useful only for an internal reference
source.
Only supported in DAQM900A, DAQM901A, DAQM902A, and DAQM908A multiplexer modules.
Parameter Typical return
(none) +2.89753100E+01
Returns the internal reference junction temperature: TEMP:RJUN?
[SENSe:]TEMPerature:TRANsducer:{RTD | FRTD}:OCOMpensated {OFF | ON} [, (@<ch_list>)]
[SENSe:]TEMPerature:TRANsducer:{RTD | FRTD}:OCOMpensated? [(@<ch_list>)]
Enables or disables offset compensation. Offset compensation removes the effects of small DC voltages in the circuit
being measured. The technique involves taking the difference between two resistance measurements, one with the
current source set to the normal value, and one with the current source set to a lower value. Enabling offset com-
pensation approximately doubles the reading time.
Only supported in DAQM901A, DAQM902A, and DAQM908A multiplexer modules.
Parameter is shared between RTD and FRTD measurements. Setting or querying the parameter with the RTD
version of this command is identical to setting or querying it with the FRTD version.
This command is not supported in DMM Digitize data acquisition mode.
Error -221,"Settings conflict; DMM digitizing mode has been disabled" will be generated when you send the
command to enable offset compensation for 2-wire or 4-wire RTD temperature measurement in DMM Digit-
ize mode.
Parameter Typical return
{OFF | ON}. Default: OFF 0 (OFF) or 1 (ON)
Enables offset compensation on channels 3 and 13 in slot 1: TEMP:TRAN:FRTD:OCOM ON,(@103,113)
