Queries the instrument to determine the number of times it has been secured.

Returns the instrument's security count:SYST:SEC:COUN?
– The security count is incremented only when security mode is enabled with SYSTem:SECurity:ENABle command.
– This includes enabling or disabling interfaces, sanitizing memory per the NISPOM standard (SYSTem:SECur-
ity:IMMediate command), updating firmware, changing the security code, or overriding the calibration security.
– Be sure to read the initial security count with this command upon receiving your instrument.
SYSTem:SECurity:ENABle {OFF | ON}
SYSTem:SECurity:ENABle?
Enables (On) or disables (Off) system security.

Default: ON
0 (OFF) or 1 (ON)
Disable system security: SYST:SEC:ENAB OFF
– Be sure to read the initial security count with this command upon receiving your instrument.
– ON: Security count will be incremented (SYSTem:SECurity:COUNt? command), and security must be unlocked
from the front panel to make changes on I/O configurations (see Remote Interface Configuration Commands).
– OFF: Changes on I/O configurations can be done without unlocking the system security.
