Driving your vehicle Driver Attention Warning (DAW)
䳜 The vehicle is erratically driven or
is abruptly turned for obstacle
avoidance (e.g. construction area,
other vehicles, fallen objects,
bumpy road).
䳜 Forward drivability of the vehicle
is severely undermined (possibly
due to wide variation in tyre pres

sures, uneven tyre wear-out, toe-
in/toe-out alignment).
䳜 The vehicle drives on a curvy road.
䳜 The vehicle drives through a
windy area.
䳜 The vehicle drives on a bumpy
road.
䳜 The vehicle is controlled by the
following driving assist functions:
- Forward Collision-Avoidance
Assist
- Lane Keeping Assist
CAUTION
Playing the vehicle audio function at
high volume may prevent occu
-
pants from hearing Driver Attention
Warning warning sounds.
Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (if
equipped)
After the vehicle in front departs,
the function informs it to the driver.
Function setting and operating
conditions
Function setting
With the engine ON, the Leading
Vehicle Departure Alert turns on and
gets ready to be activated when the
'User settings → DAW (Driver Atten
-
tion Warning) → Leading vehicle
departure alert' is selected on the
cluster. The function stops opera
-
tion when the setting is deactivated.
However, if the engine is turned off
then on again, the function main
-
tains the previous state.
